The monument reservation Slavonice lies at the south part of Ceskomoravska Vrchovina close to the Czech-Austrian border. Slavonice ranks among Renaissance town of the southwest Moravia. The domain feature is for sure the church of “Nanebevzeti Panny Marie”. It is a basilica with two fields of crossing, a three bodies and five-side end built from the middle of 14th century to the year 1521. During the 16th century, when the town was at the highest prosperity, many houses have been rebuilt, that appearance survived till today. Slavonice has been nominated to the prestigious list of world monuments. There is also the border crossing for cars in Slavonice to Austria.
